Our Windshield has stops
been BMW Sportwindshield, the packaging originally carried out
originally in the design leant to this to this one.
We are approx. 25 mm
higher (without plate) and in the upper area approx. . 70 mm wide.
As of the upper third
our model goes considerably more steeply and ends aerodynamically
favourably in a spoiler tear-off edge.
Our destination was to
reach a considerably roper wind protection at size as low as possible
and an attractive design.
Test result:
We had which detailed
comparison journeys 3 different test drivers carried out with our
machine (self-service handlebar).
Test trunk line both
directions, BAB(Autobahn) , A8, Aichelberg to Wendlingen.
Driver 1st 180 cm/106 kg
-- girl pillion-rider 167/62 kg, 2nd 184 cm/95 kg, 3rd 191 /125 kg,
Everyone in not tight-fitting textile clothes.
Comparison objects,
original BMW Sportwindshield against our master model (test series model,
silver painted) without plate/with plate.
Lowered and upright were
easily sedentarily driven 270 km/h to 280 km/h of speedo display up to
the respectively possible maximum speed.
Driver 1st solo and with
girl pillion-rider 167 cm/62 kg, driver 2 and 3 solo.
The result was
considerably roper than expected:
The roper wind
protection is noticeable even without construction plate already as of
80 km/h and rises proportionally with increasing speed considerably.
With construction plate
depending on positioning and driver size the wind protection is
considerably roper at speeds once again as of approx. 160 km/h.
This justifies itself
by the a little steeper and higher position of the plate, special but by
the construction conditional back ventilation (cavity between plate and
Windshield) which one has aerodynamically a positive effect on possible
Swirls.
We put this for in case
of the test journeys tightly subsequently has the unrest practically
disappeared up in the handlebar (easily stirring) completely as of
approx. 250 km/h. It this can be declared so well by the roper wind
protection practically no unintentional steering impulses by the driver
appear.
Be aimed

100% !!!
