The K 1200 models are with your long wheelbase and the a little flat steering head joint

not classifying just as special handily. A well-tried means a motorcycle handy

and trace friendlier a simple Ride high Adjustment can be made in the case of the K models

by amended triangle plates of the back suspension strut.

How variants in the real driving test have used the late summer/autumn 2007 and various

."K 1200 R" characteristic of ours mainly became, in the final stages also on loan

with a "K 1200 s".

Our tests were driven in the solo operation and with girl pillion-rider on various bendy one

Secondary roads crossways about this one Swabian area up to the Black Forest.

We drove our High speed tests A8 Aichelberg on our house route BAB --

Wendlingen.

Triangle plates were first tested which ones are offered to MIZU with 25 mm

However, unfortunately, see table and photo only 15-19 mm really take Tail Increase ()

 

We have various, solid pattern plates test purposes from V2A in the terminal connection to ours by

CNC laser manufactured. We manufactured our test records in 25 mm/30 mm/37 mm/42 mm/45 mm.

The results of the real driving tests were roper than expected.

 

Obviously considerably roper one steering behaviour, playfully handy in change traces,

the stability at maximum speed is up to 37 mm unchanged excellent,

the K 1200 S/R almost cannot be recognized again!

In principle, the higher the more handily this is valid though in the qualified sense

at 45 mm of the stability at speeds over 250 km/h no longer faultless,

but still is in an acceptable frame!

The main column is only max. up to 37 mm just utilizable subsequently.

 

We have got to the batch production of the MOT for 3 versions green light by now.

Due to the material used by us, the Designes and the surface compensation

our plates have a strength of at least 150% compared with the series!

The main column is fully able to work at all variants on the flat ground!

 

 

Your own height is also necessary choice to notice at this one for you right since the seat position

distance to the street also changes in this.

changed.

 

High adjustment corresponds the 25 mm to the same exactly, as in the case of the BMW 1200 R cup bikes,

is sufficient for the normal sporting Touring Driver  and this one can also without problems on

K 1200 GT being put together.

We ourselves are away almost only on the secondary road and of course prefer the 37 mm of variant.

Remake for  MIZU Plates Depending on mounting position we have measured 15 to 19 mm at the MIZU plates. These differences take place by the far too big hold bores of approx. 10.35 mm
