Installation BMW, K 1200 R handlebar mask/headlight, RACE 3

Please, follow/follow these extension instructions around everybody to avoid errors!

Please check all enclosed components for intactness and completeness immediately upon receipt. Please, you immediately make a complaint, we then provide free of charge and as quickly as possible a substitute if something does not agree.

Part list:

1 x GFK panel, type Race 1 -2-3 1 X disguising plate (special request) black -- blue -- red

1 x headlight, incl. illuminants 1 x H 4 -55/60 W // 1 x H7 -- 60 W, 1 x sidelights.

1 x cable circuit/Aprilia

1 x main hold framework, 2 x rubber nut M6, 2 x M 6 x 30 / rubber U, ' plates

Poly-U ' plates (below)

2 x mount inside above, 2 x rubber nuts M6, 2 x m 6 x20/ Poly U, ' plate

2 x M 5 x 20 / lock nut, 2 x M5 x 8 -- Poly U ' plates

2 x mount on the left/on the right,

2 x m of 6 x 20, 2 x rubber U behind, ' plates, 2 x Poly U ' Scheiben2 x M6 lock nuts

2 x m 6 x 12, 2 M6 lock nut in front

You receive hold circuit pre-assembled already ready, incl. the headlight. Merely the screws are not tightened yet and the upper mounts are not fixed correctly in the distance yet

We recommend to have anybody carry out the installation in a special workshop!

1. Build the motorcycle for certain! This component most simply can be mounted in a horizontal

position of the motorcycle. No main column is available, case you use a hoist for the rear axle

if none of these possibilities in question comes on the main column guarantee a motorcycle

you use the main column.

**2.dismantling:**
	Upper panel (windscreen), mount instruments, mount windscreen on the left/right, Airblaster on the left/on the right, only unscrew oilcooler and fix below harming freely.

3. Processing:
	The following parts must for the suitable packaging of the handlebar mask (as near as possible at the driver) be after worked. On the left /rechts and the Airbluster must be cut off a little original headlight mount like in the pictures on the left. E.g. one is it suitable Dremel grinder with saw blade, a small ripsaw, at manual dexterity also a very sharp knife. Please, at the size of the part of the Airbluster orientate yourself on the right side.
4.Mounting:
	4/1. Measuring distance of the upper drillings in the GFK and adjusting at the hold framework suitably.

	4/2. turn out loeft screw at the hold framework , enclosed M6x 35 screw from on the outside turn in until the stop. Turn out right screw , enclosed m of 6 x 35 screw of on the outside turn in is plan to these with the support. This slides headlight/frame from the front into the mount "on the left", so the screw coming through fits in the available oblong hole at the hold framework. Tightening the right hold screw until the stop by the oblong hole now "on the right". On the whole the enclosed M6 lock nuts tighten that of the back schich of the frames still has moved in an inclination and length freely.

4/2.

Attaching the cable tree of the headlight suitably and definitely workingly.

The enclosed plug-in connections do not match the series connections and must be made alone suitable by the buyer.

4/3.

Putting instruments together on the new support tightly. Use the original rubbers and clamps.

You can the instrument plate with into the available aluminium threads screw on the original screws, M5.

How do the available aluminium blanks drill out and the M6 enclosed recommend for stability reasons with lock nuts using? From above Polyscheibe and M6 plug lock nut in below, tighten.

4/4.

Fastening headlight/mount above on the left/on the right. By the drilling the lateral supports of on the outside M 6 x 20 by sticks, rubber U, tell screw plate between this, Polyscheibe from inside however, ', screw on, lock nut.

Screwing on mount, m of 6 x 12 one screws being enclosed in front above of the outside, M6 lock nut from inside.

	4/5. Fixing, screwing in tight the whole mount in the shown basic setting Stuck out below approx. 58 -60 mm, above approx. 102 -104. The disguising mask puts on, if the angle of inclination or the distance should not be suitable, then a little on a trial basis after correct. If on the whole everything is adjusted correctly to the satisfaction, tightening all screwing connections and adjusting the headlight suitably.

	4/6. Freshly paints respect !!! Putting headlight mask on carefully. Upper screws of M 6 x 20 / Polyscheibe, some turns loose turn in. Below thick rubber U ' plates between GFK and hold framework (rag stuff) M 6 x 30 / Polyscheibe, one screws. All 4 hold drillings in the GFK are, interpreted as an oblong hole you fix carefully the disguising mask now depending on on the left/on the right -- above/seat below till a more perfectly is given. An opening measure would be-2 mm optimal between headlight and disguising of approx. 1. Tighten all screws. If you make a final check, all of you respect this cables are laid tightly and barn freely. All mobile parts like handlebar, fork, feather elements, handle fittings, hydraulic lines, etc. freely is mobile this.

By the cultivation of our handlebar mask the aerodynamics, flow conditions as well as the wind noises changes. In the interest of your own you go to have got used to the new circumstances with the advisable care to the thing close to you.
